Usage and Storage of Cotton Sleeping Bags
Sleeping bags should not be stored in compression sacks for extended periods. It is recommended to pack them into the compression sack only before a trip. Normally, keep them loose to maintain the bag's loft. Before sleeping, you can take the sleeping bag out and shake or pat it to allow the cotton filling to fluff up as much as possible—the fluffier the cotton, the warmer it is.
The sleeping bag is stored in a compression sack while in the warehouse. Upon receiving it, you should loosen the bag and let it air out. When storing, avoid moisture. If it becomes damp, dry it promptly.
Cleaning Cotton Sleeping Bags
The sleeping bag fabric has a high density. For dust, simply wipe it off with a dry towel. Small oil stains can be spot-cleaned by brushing. The filling is polyester fiberfill, so it can be machine washed in a front-loading washing machine. It is advisable to wash the sleeping bag in dry weather. After washing, turn the bag inside out (the lining is highly breathable) to dry. Ensure it is completely dry, then pat and shake it to evenly distribute the cotton filling.
